Our Story

We got our start as GROWTH by NCRC, an initiative of the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC). GROWTH stands for "Generating Real Opportunities for Work Through Housing."

We believe homeownership is an essential part of the American Dream and that every family should be able to own a home and enjoy the financial benefits that homeownership provides.

GROWTH by NCRC has evolved into GROWTH Homes. GROWTH Homes is responding to the national inventory crisis primarily by building new homes in communities where investment is needed most. We believe that the creation and preservation of homeownership remains our nation’s best tool for wealth-building and community revitalization. Our innovation is in partnering with cities and regions, and the banks serving them, seeking to provide homeownership for all Americans.
