Our Story
Our story started with the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC), where the GROWTH initiative took shape. That experience taught us how communities work, how homeownership strengthens them and why access has been uneven for so long. It also proved that targeted investment, strong partnerships and a commitment to scale can bring new life to neighborhoods overlooked by traditional development.
While our origin informs our values, GROWTH Homes stands today as an independent homebuilder with the capacity, flexibility and expertise to deliver new homes at scale.
Where We Build
We build in places where demand is high and attainable options are scarce. In cities like Atlanta, Birmingham and Dallas, we focus on neighborhoods where long term residents are at risk of being priced out or pushed aside. We work with municipalities, lenders, CDFIs, land banks and community organizations to align resources, expand mortgage access and support tools like interest rate buy downs that make ownership sustainable. In some markets, we partner with workforce development programs. In others, we collaborate with housing counselors and community leaders to help buyers succeed long after closing.

Who We Serve
The people we serve reflect the communities in which we build. Many are first time buyers, essential workers or long-term residents who want stability after years of renting. Some use local or federal subsidy programs. Others buy our higher-end homes because the design, location and price make sense.
